Summary0002757: Sizeable "loading results" windows

Additional InformationHello Kyle,

Sorry you chose to close as "Resolved" entry 0002374 (thus forcing me to open a new case for the same issue): actually it is NOT resolved - maximizing a window or enabling the export of its content does not make it RESIZABLE (and there is really no reason to maximize it on a 23"+ screen ...)

So the original request (of over a year ago ...) stands: there is a need to have this window resizable!

Kindly try to help with this.

Thanks again,

Eric

Is this issue correctly categorized?
Shouldn't it be recategorized as feature request?

I never did get such a window within SUMo. But I observer another non-resizeable (crowded) window. It's the settings window opened when selecting the options menu. This settings window does also seem not to be resizeable. There are rows in that window with place for one row of text filled with two rows. In my configured language, one two-row text row can be read while THREE others can't. And its subwindow for language isn't wide enough to display the whole content, just a part. This subwindow has a vertical scroll bar but no vertical scroll bar.

I found another non-resizeable window which at least has scroll bars. It's the window for additional folders accessible via settings. The maximise icon is grayed out indicating unavailability. Why can this additional folders window not be maximized to read full content on one display screen?

Yeah. This window has many entries configured on my device as SUMo does not yet look at all standard locations for installed software tools (partially addressed with issues https://www.kcsoftwares.com/bugs/view.php?id=5442, https://www.kcsoftwares.com/bugs/view.php?id=1783 and https://www.kcsoftwares.com/bugs/view.php?id=2373).
