I see you have NOT installed Anti-Spam ACP (http://lithiumstudios.org/forum/viewtop ... 94411950f2) yet, I'd take the little bit of time it takes and do it as quick as possible.

In fact I'd lock these forums down until you do. Just how I operate.

I hope you added some anti-spam hacks here, like this one. Basically, phpBB3 boards are not bot-safe. (There is no such board which is.)

I'll add anti-BOT MOD asap. For the time being, by the time i get familiar with this, i have enabled "post & topic" validation by moderator "ON".

Heh, let's hope that you won't have much feedback in the next few weeks, having to moderate 100 postings is hard stuff...

I've added a "human only" question on registration as proposed.

If that prevent bot from registering during the coming week, i'll remove moderator validation requirement (since i've already deleted 3 bot accounts in less that 24 hours, i'll quickly see if my countermeasure is efficient or not !)

Still, there is quite a lot of people around who get paid for spamming boards (no joke), so probably it won't stop them.
The safest way is to moderate registrations, I guess.

Yes but you can't see if it is a bot as long as it has not started to psot... no 100% sure easy solution ;-(

You can recognize spam bots by their signatures or websites. Always.
