Topic: "Checking" Won't Terminate in New Version (2.6.2.77)
My sincerest kudos and thanks for the great app. I've happily adopted SUMo as my primary app update monitoring tool for quite some time, and up until now had no problems in it's performance.
However, immediately after installing the latest version (2.6.2.77; MD5=C98564C5C33556ABE61FE39AF2D2B74C), I've yet to get it to run to completion successfully. It chronically stays in the "Checking" cycle after it has sucessfully checked all queued apps. I've tried all the following to no avail:
reinitializing: 1) killing the process, 2) re-launching app, 3) re-"Scan"ning, then 4) re-"Check"ing.
letting it run ("Checking") for several hours to see if it ever self-terminates.
canceling (via "Stop" button").
uninstalling/reinstalling the app.
The only way to terminate the app once in check mode is to kill the process (via SysInternal's "Process Explorer"), although it is neither in a hung status, nor consuming any measurable CPU.
Is anyone else experiencing this also? I doubt I can be the only one. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
