May be fixed thanks to https://www.kcsoftwares.com/bugs/view.php?id=5758 in a next release

Don't believe that this fix will solve all aspects reported, just one. It seems not to explain why SUMo restarts without changed Windows nor changed SUMo version decreases of one start to the next! In my case that decrease is about 5 promille. The proposed fix addresses Windows updates and eventually SUMo updates leading to such effects.Kyle_Katarn wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 9:00 pm May be fixed thanks to https://www.kcsoftwares.com/bugs/view.php?id=5758 in a next release

Re: November Update (1909) compatibility?
The issue remains here, SUMo only detects a few programs and I have to manually drag the .exe files. Can you please me what the Security permissions should be in the Start Menu folders? For example, on C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu folder properties I have:
CREATOR OWNER (Only 'Special permissions'=Allow, all else blank)
SYSTEM (all=Allow, Special permissions=blank)
MyUsername (all blank, Special permissions=allow)
Administrators (all=Allow, Special permissions=blank)
Users (Full control/Modify/Write=blank, the rest=Allow)

Well, it refuses to detect items in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu. I don't know why.
Items in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu are detected normally.

"refuses" : do you mean SUMO "does not automatically scan" or do you mean "rejects shortcut, even if manually drag'n'dropped" ?

My wording was incorrect. It means that is scans normally but finds nothing, as reported before. Manually dragging works. If you have any suggestion, please let me know.

It seems this was a file/folder permissions problem. Windows 10 is very touchy. I think you can close this issue, thank you.

Do you mean it's now "fixed" ?
