How to make Sumo forget the found programs

Post by Beddhist » Tue Dec 08, 2015 8:45 pm

Hi,

In an unsuccessful attempt to make Sumo find the installed GNUpg and GPG4Win I made a deep scan. Now I have gazillions of programs come up. How can I start a scan from scratch?

Regards,
Peter.

Selec all items (CTRL +A) then "Remove" (NOT Ignore), then "Scan again" (selecting Normal Scan beforehand in settings)

No, that didn't work as intended: it asked me did I want to permanently remove (ignore)? Now my list after scanning is empty.

I had to reset the ignore list. So remove and ignore seem to do the same thing?

Peter.

No, ignore is "definitive" (until you reset the ignore list) while "delete" is only temporary, until next "scan"
