HDDExpert v1.18.1.40 No drive detected

Post by mgeyer »

Hello :)

I have installed HDDExpert on Windows Server 2012 - when I start the program I get the following Error:
Error: No drive detected

But when I use the following comand in the comandprompt:
wmic
diskdrive get status
I get 6 times "OK".

Can I get the software working?

Best regards,
Max

Hi Max,

may you provide further details, like the output of "diskrive get" instead of "diskdrive get status"?
(Of course you may replace the serial by asteriks.)

How are these drives attached to your server?

As far as I know, it seems to be a known bug that HDDExpert does not yet report on external devices nor changeable devices.

Maybe something is wrong with motherboard?
